The Miss

(this happened a week ago Friday to a fellow teacher and friend of mine named Phyllis. I thought it was quite a story and she got on the tv news in Utah) Late night as her husband drove them through an intersection, there came barreling at them a drunk with his truck lights off! He ripped off their car’s front end at the point where their feet touched the floorboard. In one sliced second, Phyllis missed sure death.

a guy was speed racing with his friends after school just a month ago, and he killed himself, crashing into a tree which cut the car and him in half, his friends ran from the scene..which i don't understand..and my mother was literally thrown off of my dads motor cycle by a trailer truck backing up a few years ago.thats crazy how things happen that way, your friend and his wife were so near death, what a crash, right.glad they are well.i might look at it. -Always&Forever Lynette

Ow My,a scary experience indeed..tnk God they survived it all.Similiar experience happened to my young cousin age 21.. A drunk with a sports car crashed in his car, left him =fighting for his life for a whole Month in Intensive Care.. and he never recovered completely, tnk God He is still with Us,,If only people could be responsible enough to not drive when they drink...tnks for this poem dear friend..May we all learn from it to be responsibe and grateful to life...Charma

Amazing story. They obviously had a guardian angel watching out for them. I like the creative presentation. Carolyn Henderson
