The Mirror
The Mirror

Each day i see lives bathed in turmoil,
who gaze at mirrors, and for help grope
Who let daily events cause a state of roil,
depending on others, not God, for hope.
A mirror reflects back to us just who we are,
our outward appearance, but not our heart.
Even though our heart may wear some scar,
God’s forgiveness gives us a brand-new start.
