The Mind

Who decides who lives and who dies?
Why are some tortured and others not?
Has one child never cried?

Do you realise the damage you create?
To extend violence, and blame your past is not accepted.

Excuses, excuses,
take responsibility.
Don't exercise, that which you received,
remember how you felt.

Do not blame,
they taught you what not to do.

The only way to succeed is to learn from others mistakes.
Open your eyes.
lead, don't follow.

It would be an ideal world IF we could learn from the mistakes of others. I must admit though, I do like the privilege of making my own mistakes and learning by them. Another thought provoking poem. Love it.
