The Meadow
The meadow is a charming place
Mother Nature undisturbed
Calm and peaceful, ever-changing,
I wander there unperturbed.
Seasons come and go unbidden
Without human interferences
A single path neatly transverses,
There are no barbed wire fences.
While butterflies lazily flutter
Wildflowers flourish in cluster
And I,…I blithely stroll through
With all the privacy I can muster.
I would stay in yonder meadow
If I had no chores to attend
And I would not expect anyone
Unlike me to comprehend.
