The Master Artist's Brush

Sea engulfs the sun

Blue sky turning purest gold

Another day done

Artists dare not be so bold

To paint the scene I behold

An artist couldn't (and shouldn't) do it justice, Robert. Sometimes it's nice to have these visions kept as secret.

Beautiful tanka, Robert. I'm sure it will be among the winners in Rick's contest. Iolanda took a photo of the Pacific that shows the golden sunlight dancing on the water. Your poem reminds me of her wonderful photo! Love, Carolyn
