The Mark

I succumb to dazzling splendor. The sparkle of inner radiance, filtered through vivid eyes, stops purpose. Reason turns reckless. Love's desires, once drunk, become life's only goal. The luster of an innocent, angelic face matches timeless words. Her voice beckons from afar. A day without its chime, becomes dull, devoid of comfort. Her affection becomes a spark before the coldest dawn. To embrace her melts granite. Kisses from her lips can moisten the starkest desert. She has made her mark on an unseen canvas. The cascading levels of her thoughts join vibrant minds. A permanent tattoo etches my true-hearted soul. I have become powerless to her branding.
