The Man of My Dreams

When I was fifteen, I met the man of my dreams
The man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with
When I look at him, my heart still races
It is when we go to sleep at night
that I realize how wonderful this man really is
As we lay together, I watch him drift off to sleep
As I look at him, I see a sensual kind of softness
I listen for every breath and watch every movement
I run my fingers over his chest
twisting the hair gently around my fingertips
I kiss his cheek softly so as not to wake him
The smell of his cologne makes me tremble
I am so in love with this man
He has such a caring heart
Everything he does, he does with so much love
He is the most wonderful man I have ever known
As I drift off to sleep, I thank God above
For giving me this wonderful man to love
He is my husband and my best friend
He is the man of my dreams
