The Makers of Gods

Know that we are
not only made by
God, but we are
makers of gods;
the technology
we worship—the
bible of tables
(our elements);
we cook and
stew; we homogenize
and consume—drinking
the fluid bodies of
eternity. Be as wise
of what goes into
your mouth, as well
as what comes out…
we excrete only
what we admit
to….

Anything that stands between ourselves and God (in other words, just automatically knowing) (being immediately and always in His presence) is of our own making.

For sure; and it does not prove or deny the existence of God, which I am also certain you agree. If you are interested in Mysticism, please read my libretto, "Architects" by Joe DiMino. Look for Light-Cards if you can't find it. Have a beautiful day. Your pal, Joe. Blessings.

Interesting viewpoint... But you almost say religion is man made .. I think this poem can be viewed both ways in that argument..

Joe, there's a historical reason why there are so many. Not being a theogian, I can't explain it. As far as I know there is one God. We long ago passed the Greek gods conundrum. Panagiota xx
