The Love We Made

(I'll never forget) The love we made

Searching through the shells,
where every human dwells...
you said, you found a pearl inside of mine

In me you found the good,
that I just never could,
you shined your light on me, but now I'm blind

Chorus
When I reach for you,
and I can't feel you there...
I remember the love we made,
and I sense you everywhere.
Now a cold breeze blows,
out the flickering flame...
(But) I'll never forget the love we made

Diamond from the coal,
extracted from the shoal...
you were the finest gem I ever mined

You took what's meant to be,
and gave it all to me...
(but) it doesn't mean a thing(baby) without you

Chorus
When I reach for you,
and I can't feel you there...
I remember the love we made,
and I sense you everywhere.
Now a cold breeze blows,
out the flickering flame...
(But) I'll never forget the love we made

Now a cold breeze blows,
out the flickering flame...
(But) I'll never forget the love we made
Now a cold breeze blows,
out the flickering flame...
(But) I'll never forget the love we made

I see you compose also Heidi, why not work up a melody for this if you like it that much. It's so hard to find female composers/singers to work on these, go ahead I'm sure it will be great!
