The lioness hums...
The wafting inside my head,
Whirling afloat, like a hurricane.
I tell myself, The worst she can say, is no
Perchance the lioness winks...
I will offer my lonely heart to her.
My roar will echo through heaven
Whispers amongst the fools who doubt me...
Daub within the townsmen.
A folly frenzy flutters, lip to lip, ear to ear
My palms dank, I starred at her across the room.
She smiled and winked...
Me, I was in awe, I was in love
Towards her I walked, stopping two feet away...
I then froze, She froze too...
Like a time freeze, we both stood silent
Slowly, we inched closer...
And closer, and closer, still silent, until...
Our lips touched, and we kissed
I knew right then and there,
This wasn't a case of happenstance.
I knew, our love, was my destiny...
The lion roars...
