The Lion and the Lamb (Part 1)
Who I am is who I have to be
but how quickly can one be his/her I am
So I may take my place in destiny
to hold both the lion and the lamb
I struggle... as I try to take my place cause
after all this
I didn't know what strength was, but I didn't know
what peace was either
So I took a place tripping lambs and getting laid out by lions
relying on intellect as a concept to be my Jesus...
Not learning that Peace is the endurance to withstand
violence by subjugating the essence of stillness into your
character where reaction lives...not learning that
peace is the stronger force by not being moved
as it stays in the stillness with the rush of ego weathering
around, building and breaking.... peace is rock...
forever still...bracing movement to move...
Even weather works around the mountain...
...The strength of peace comes from the barrage
of restless testimonies lived out in action...
what creates accidents of harm is malice, inciting
movement displayed as movement that moves more
to move more...I act like the weather but my destiny is to be
is to be the mountain and to hold both the lion and the lamb...
....the best way to get to know peace is to feel the stillness....
....empathize with it... its at the place where you find rest...
...think of it that is where we refuel our living tanks.... as still...
....it's so easy to be woken up... still we find our rest, don't we?
