The Life of a Crowned Head

The life of a crowned head The king of Norway sat in his small living room thinking how he ended up in a democracy where everyone are equals, some more than others like the so-called shipping aristocracy who wisely keep their money off-shore. His father had been a prince of Denmark and knew about the historical Shakespeare was offered the job as a king of Norway after being a vassal state to Denmark for 500 years. But the truth was he wanted to get away from his father who was a tyrant was treating his family with disdain. Of course, back then people were proud having a king and lined the main street when the king in a horsedrawn carriage drove past. And women were quick to collect horse manure it was said royal manure made the roses bloomed bigger than modest roses. Then came democracy and the silly idea of equality the king lost his priveledges, no power just a name and a uniform.
