The Joy of Running

    Searing, the sun
      no shade on this run

    perilous, the wind
      eyes let sand in

    draining, the humidity
      tempting torpidity…

    steep hill appears ~
      tears, no more gears

Put a little mustard into that catching up, John, and you'll make it up the hill!

Nicely put my friend. The only running I ever did was to catch my bus. Have a lovely day.

I admire people with the ability and discipline to run! If I had to run for my life I’d be in trouble lol. Good poem Gershon.

Running is interesting. Are we running away from something or towards something? Or both. ~ Chasing my tail, gw

OK. I can howl like a wolf, drool like a wolf -- but run like a wolf. Hmm. My running has seen better days... except for my nose running. lol. Thanks, Deb
