Adversity and animosity, together were your constant companions A heart bleeding, disillusioned by deception, and finally abandoned Enemies betrayed you, plotting and scheming you felt so surrounded Until the day that I met you, and rescued you with my love unbounded. Enmity and selfishness continue masquerading in a synchronized disguise But when I see the innocence in your eyes, I´m not fooled by all their lies Now we´re bonded by love in a world full of corruption and despair It warms my heart and soul just knowing that you are always there.
