Wash your face; brush your teeth.
Take special care of underneath,
For what horrible happens no one knows
If you forget the between-the-toes!

I suppose that's what they were afraid of but with no facts! I remember Mom's scolding about it (in the zinc tub on the kitchen floor, my baby brother on my lap for me to wash him, too) Elizabeth.
