The Huge Rack

Moose with huge antler rack
Graceful as he roams on grassy
Banks, of slowly running river
Bowing his head low
Eats of the young tender shoots

Pretty cool name for a poem, guiding one in with something astonishing and then having a sweet nature poem about a moose. In my opinion, misdirection is poetry also, and this is an excellent combination of Ideas.

Love this poem, Sara! Brings us back to nature. Unfortunately I lost that love I showed in my poem "You". Any loss is always bad. Thank you for commenting it. Keep on with your good writing! Gert

Hi Sara Hey, you are describing perfectly what life is like here on my property here in Alaska! Smile...Any where in Alaska for that matter. The lower 48 has this too in certain states..... I love it, yes I do! Keep writing and I'll keep reading! Thanks for your comments too. Take care Love Light Truth Patricia
