The Highway

The Highway Bob Dylan, B. Marquardt-Alexander, Joan Baez The Highway The highway's a river, I'm a leaf adrift, Tumbling, tumbling, no solid shift. The canyon's son, a blessing I crave, But I'm lost at sea, a soul to be saved. Sunlight a mirage, a distant gleam, Where mountains fade, a forgotten dream. Rolling hills, a sepia tone, A classic date, a love all alone.
