The High Cost of Eating

Why do we have to eat anyway? It’s only a habit we picked up Long ago when we were babies Blame it on Mommy She started it, after all And now we can’t stop We can’t get away from it Breakfast . . . lunch . . . dinner Mid-morning snack Afternoon tea Midnight munchies It never ends Eating is a necessary evil It makes us fat It makes us sick It drains our bank accounts Nothing good comes of it A momentary pleasure, that’s all. My advice? Take a vitamin!
