The Heated Storm

Ancient storms raging ten thousand years. Seas that have always turned; fires that have always burned. This is how you came into my life. You held me down, and stilled me like I wanted you to. Took my breath, made me gasp for air. Now this storm is within my blood- desperate for you to calm this heat.

Early morning reading to get the mind buzzing. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry Greta. Have a fabulous weekend and I hope to see more of your poetry when I get back to the Soup Monday. Usually pretty busy on the weekends with family so don't get to read much. Love, Carol
