The Heart
Absence
It makes the heart grow
Yes, I have a big heart
I forgive easily
But absence
It makes the heart grow
Grow to the point where
It affects the brain
Loving someone is hard
Because one day
They will leave
Leave you for a while
Sometimes they won’t return
Sometimes they will
Love is hard
The feelings
The emotions
All of it
The whole aspect of love
Letting someone into your life
Telling them your secrets
Your goals
And aspirations
It requires so much
It takes a lot out of you
And nobody wants
To be left alone
