The Healer
Naaman was a brave and courageous soldier
No man could beat him but leprosy was no man
He could not defeat this invisible enemy
with his sword or spear or self-pity
Naaman packed his bags
And went looking for a miracle
With some hesitation
He waded into the Jordon dipped 7 times
and what the sword and spear could not do
God did
“… for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
On his knees trembling an outcast and despised
No better than a dead man cursed
In despair and deserted
On his knees begging Jesus if he was willing
To heal him of his leprosy
and with a touch of mercy
what no man could do
Jesus did
“… for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
