Each year brings to mind more to be embarrassed at in retrospect, but more resilience to shyness in the present. This poem strikes a chord even to one of different gender. Brilliant title and well crafted writing, Kim

'Shake my booty - restore my youth - your photo screams youth - so sure you shook your booty very well indeed - a sprinkle of a naughtiness makes the poem perfect. Lovely write, Blessings, Jennifer.

You don't have to shake it. There is an old song called In those Jeans by Ginuwine. Put'em on and just walk.

Kim, sweet, I recall my mother going to the grocery store in curlers, she thought nothing of it but as a teen I was horrified, one time she picked me up after work in her nightgown (well at least she was in the car) I like your poem a lot _Constance

Thanks so much and thanks for sharing your memory with me! My visiting Grandma rolled my hair and convinced me to go to the store...only time I did that. But such things stick in our memories :)
