The Greatest Proof of Love

The greatest proof of love:
Man’s desire to protect
His most endearing quality:
The role he shares with heavenly beings…
A guarding angel on earth
With his strength
Protecting his woman
From outer attacks…

And yet…
From the heart of every woman
A gentle voice pleads:
"Will you protect me
From the strength of your own heart?
I am most vulnerable to you…
Will you protect my heart
From your power
Over me?"

Yes....it surely is a scary place to be, Drake....I find this the most most most amazing thing about men. The desire to protect his woman. It is just so sweet. I have two older brothers...they would be rough with me, tease me, and drive me bonkers, but should anyone dare bother me...there were there, "Hey, your messing with my sister!" :) But, in love relationships...the man must protect his woman's gentle heart from his ways...(infidelity, lies, harshness..the list could go on!) Thanks for stopping by!
