The Greatest Performance of My Life

The greatest performance of my life
        was the day I married my sweet love of my soul. 
           His arms sheltered me from the outside world. 

     The greatest performance of my life 
        was the sequence of events that made me whole. 
           The birth of my sons, moments that made love strong. 

     The cheerful, awe feeling, when they wobbled taking their first steps. 
        The tears that dripped watching them go up the steps 
           on their first day of school. 
     The swelling and proud feelings in my heart
        watching them reach for their diploma on graduations. 

     The exciting experience of a new parent, when they had their children. 

     The greatest performance of my life,
         the accomplishments, God continues blessing.
