The Great Divide

With every uncertainty the rich get more greedy and larger grows the great divide a great plague stretching worldwide And each and every person's tear is nothing in the corporate eye The land of opportunity where opportunity has ceased to be Each day politicians boast jobs they fail to say how many are lost The wars go on we cannot win but refuse to loose not counting the money and souls already lost Change, but no one knows what change they want only that what's happening today is a deth sentance for generations to come

A Blast From The Past - Solon (550ish BC): "The man whose riches satisfy his greed Is not more rich for all those heaps and hoards Than some poor man who has enough to feed And clothe his corpse with such as God affords. I have no use for men who steal and cheat; The fruit of evil poisons those who eat. Some wicked men are rich, some good men poor, But I would rather trust in what's secure; Our virtue sticks with us and makes us strong, But money changes owners all day long." ~ Peace
