The Great Alarm Clock Scam

A singular failure is the alarm
When used to late morning sleepers disarm
For as soon as it rings
They turn off the damn thing
And don't wake up 'til work's done on the farm

Gershon, I set the alarm on my cellphone. When it rings I feel 1/2 alive. Grabbing it from my bedside table to shut it off, it bangs to the floor. A sign to go back to sleep as it has landed under the bed : ) That darn cell phone.

It's fatal to switch it off too soon, especially if you are a bad sleeper and you have only just gone to sleep.

Lol so true this is my friend. Sometimes the purpose is defeated by a change of plans.I know I have been guilty of that. Thank God for the wife, you can't turn her off. lol
