I once felt my life didn't belong to me
I'd wonder how it would feel to be free
Invisible shackles tied up my heart
Inside I was crying, falling apart.
Pondering how to effect a fresh start
Within moments peace invaded my heart
The answer came unspoken by the Lord
In dreamlike experience my soul soared.
God doesn't knock, just simply enters right in
He knows where He is welcome to exist
The world was suddenly mine to explore
I waved the past goodbye for evermore.
If your alike the me I used to be
Then follow this advice I share freely
Pray to the Father that all will be well
You'll be amazed at the grace of yourself.
