The Government's Clerks
To say we're doing the government's work
we'd have to all be crazy.
Or could we just enjoy the work
for fear of being lazy.
We'd like to say we're tired of work
but healthcare's our support.
To know our plot is further off
makes us the working sport.
Then knowing we can sue for health
makes living worth the while.
Where every doctor's paid for time
they take to make a trial.
Where life belongs to leaders
who would put us all to work.
If not for our insurance
when they bury us a clerk.
