The God That Gleams

The world is a scary place
When you fall down to your face
And when nobody helps you out,
You rethink what humanity's about.

I was never originally created with this Earth,
Spiritually I am from a far-off cosmic hearth.
I keep missing a world in which I belong,
But I have a curse of amnesia so strong.

I finally fully remember though:
The one loving me, helping me grow,
He is so alike to the Supreme, and so,
It was to him I made my promise only I know.

I'll show him how this world is a lovely place.
He'll always keep me in his warm embrace.
He and I were always meant to be it seems,
As I see a vision of him in armor that gleams.
