The Gift of Forgiveness
Suddenly Released From Purgatory,
Restored To Life,
The Love Taken From His Youth
Returned To Him Now.
Is This What Forgiveness From God Was Like?
In The Midst Of His Aging, All Opportunities Missed,
All Youth And Vigor Lost,
This Gift, A Cruel Reminder,
Of All That Was Stolen
By Time.
