A poetrySoup convention was once a fantasy
But this forthcoming June it will be a reality.

Ottawa, Canada is the chosen location
For all you poets it’s an open invitation
On your booking form use code 423
And get a discount on the entrance fee.

Poets will travel from countries afar
By train, plane, boat and motor car
Converging on Canada for this event
In line's garden in a super deluxe tent.

Poetry readings with dancing and singing
A full sized bar for chatting and drinking
Line is looking for best poet of all time
So enter your sonnet, haiku or rhyme.

So do come and join us for three days of fun
Long range forecast is good with plenty of sun
On the very last night and just after dinner
Our host will speak and announce the winner.

Start making arrangements and book your seat
It's a golden opportunity for all of us to meet
And if it's successful and I am sure it will be
So same time next year so keep early June free.

Still, it would sure be a wonderful event to meet all the far away Soupers and hear them read their poetry live.
