The Garden Is Waiting

Went for a walk and problems I leave behind, trees are still all bare but the birds do not care; songbirds twittered giving me such peace of mind. Sweet it will be when there is warmth again in the air, the garden is waiting and soon my blooms will be twined; every seedling planted inside is thriving- even have lots to share. _________________________ April 16, 2020 Poetry/Harrisham/Rhyme/The Garden is Waiting Copyright Protected, ID 20-1244-346-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for the contest, Each Letter Threads The Verse sponsor, Joseph May Third Place This is a form called "The Harrisham Rhyme", created by Harrisham Minhas, from Punjab, India. Love the thought of thriving...its connection to the word alive, perhaps. Congrats on your win here, Constance, We had a hard freeze early April right at the wrong time, two nights in a row and though I covered them, my two early bloomers are having a rough time of it.
