The Future Tide

4195. I won’t be here, neither will you. Do you think they’ll remember what our nation chose to do? Or do you you think that they’ll hark back to these ‘sublime’ days or the ‘days of fools’? They’ll know technology that we’ll never know. They’ll have access to health care that could have saved us you know. They’ll go to spaces that we’ll never go. The future will take time to get over the pain. The future will make sure that we ‘never do this again’! But, these sentiments don’t have the strength to carry their weight. Because so many times before have we been at this gate. The relativity of time on humankind will not allow any change. Show those numbers a different way and we’re back at the start of all the broken promises again… 4195 could be 1945, the same lies, the same cries all over again.
