The Future

Abraham Lincoln once said
The best way
To predict
The future
Is to
Create it.
He also said
That if he had six hours
To hew a tree
He would spend four hours
Honing the axe
And two hours
To cut the tree.
The World is spending
Vast amounts of time
Effort and money
Honing the dagger.
What beast
Does the world
Want to slay?
What future does the World
Want to create?

Gerald, you pose the question "What beast does the world want to slay and what future does the world want to create?" Food for thought!!!! Excellent question
