The Full Moon

Gazing at the dark sky I see a full moon shining Brightly in the dark sky smiling As I look closer,I see a face With a nose, two eyes and a- smiling face He is known-as the man in the moon

Darlene: That was fun, but I seldom write about the moon unless I mention "It's made of cheese" or at least that's what they told me as a kid. I've always wanted to visit. Thanks for sharing this glimpse of "an old friend". Keep them coming. oldbuck

I do let out my inner child from time to time. She helps me write some my poetry. I enjoyed writing about the man in the moon
