The Forever Dance

"i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)i am never without it(anywhere i go you go . . . "
ee Cummings Was it love, was it the music? That simplistic symphony of time that meshed your arms in mine? Who would have guessed two hearts would reveal themselves in the ego of self-centered undress; perhaps you were not my dream and I surely was not your best but some wild rendezvous of un-imaginings with you paired us from ourselves of one to two. Neither months nor years could separate us emersed in the bond of time standing still and time seemed never enough with trust in the sharing of me and you; for a second's introduction, we danced and soon knew we were meant to be together and the mesmerizing dance would be forever as time flew. Slipping into the sadness of today alone the days are longer now but no longer touched by the dance of that me and you, we, mutually owned; until we meet again then I'll dream and continue to remember the November waltzes slipping slowly to December wishing I could have, I would have, danced with you, forever. 11/16/19 Writing Challenge, November- Some Kind of Love Sponsor, Dear Heart - Wiishkobi Ode

What a beautiful write DM, it was such an enjoyable read, love abloom but alas was cut short, the melancholy at the end was a surprise, but I love melancholy. This should do well in the contest! Looking forward to your Pale shelter entry!
