Herschel Walker's Republican stride
Tackles truth and shoves it aside
He'll smash facts and weave
To fake and deceive
Those who don't see how much he's lied
Author's Comment: What is it about football that some people like? I think the fans imagine themselves on the field crushing the opponent. It allows people to vicariously express their anger. The politicians seem to have adopted the football (or professional wrestling) mode of operation. It's not discourse any more--it's a violent display.
