My love- you were the fire in me,
the bright light that raged in my heart;
when you left- my fire burned barely,
I sank low, from life apart.
But slow, I found my place and part,
the sad hurt inside, fed my fire;
the deep pain, fuel to inspire,
soon a mighty blaze was burning;
and never will my fire expire . . .
This girl- so, so strong now standing.
