Notes About The Poem

AI CHECKED - 100% HUMAN WRITTEN!!!

We had such a wonderful break in September, i couldnt resist writing a poem about it and was so thrilled that Jason put my poem on their FB page along with a link to my book! 10/06/24

The Fairmile Guest House

We arrived early at the Fairmile We’re welcomed by Jason’s warm smile He made a pot of tea For my hubby and me I’m happy we’re staying a while! Our bedroom was spotlessly clean And as for the breakfast cuisine The huge choice was amazing (Overnight oats I’m praising) We feasted like a King and Queen! The pre–order system is great It ensured the food on our plate Was ready on time And it tasted divine One downside I’ve put on some weight!!!! For treats you need not travel far The lounge has an honesty bar Drinks and tasty snacks Like yummy flapjacks This guesthouse should rank a four star! Hosts Jason and wife Melanie In tandem, they work seamlessly I can truly attest They look after each guest Shame Fairmile’s not closer to me! There’s plenty more that I could say But sadly I’ve not got all day If it’s in your plans To visit St Anne’s The Fairmile’s the best place to stay!

Jan...a wonderful tribute that truly reflects a human experience. It's great what you did here! Making me smile. I enjoyed the fact that there's an honesty bar....it reflects a culture we should all aspire to!

I would love to visit that bar, but it's just a little too far, I'm in the UK, many miles away, and it's to far to travel by car.

Dear Jan, What a great poem singing the praise of this most amazing place. My wife and I just got back from a bed and breakfast in Naples, Florida, and it was also outstanding and clean. Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Amazing when a travel produces a poem. You've piqued my interest. I am wondering where this place is. It's nicely penned.

It's in a place called St Anne's which is not far from Blackpool which you may have heard of as it is famous for it's tower:-) hugs Jan xx

A place I will never get to visit but you really brought it to life. I don't know who Jason is. But I think you should send this poem to the owners of this place!

Jason and Melanie run the Fairmile, I sent them a copy of the poem and jason put it on their FB page - he described me as a 'celebrated poet' in his comments and also posted a link to my book which was so kind of him:-) hugs jan xx

lol Jan. I know you're being humorous with the announcement that it was 100% written by your hand. I won't do that and if anyone believes I would use AI, they can stop reading me just like many have stopped reading blogs about AI... even the one in which no one is allowed to contradict the blogger. The opinion of that one doesn't allow anyone else to have one, although that person readily takes part in every other blog. I recall you telling me about the lovely Inn... glad you wrote about it.

It was a somewhat tongue in cheek comment Lin lol, the guest house was so amazing i had to do a tribute, it started off as one verse and grew and grew, only took about 8 mins to write from start to finish! hugs jan xx
