The Fable (Pt. 3)
I just wish she would know, wish she could see
My dreams at night can make my day
I wish she was here with me
But there is nothing I can say
I can not bring her back today
She is now just a dream
Was our love not what it had seemed?
She is in my past
I just wish she was here
I wanted it to last
But this is what I had feared
She was so close, was so near
Now she is just a memory
That I can still see
She shimmers in my mind
It feels like so long ago
I just wish I could find
Our love that used to only grow
It was all I'd ever know
She would be my princess, and I her prince
But she moved along, and I haven't since
