The Essence of Being
Out of nothing you were called
Molded by Love’s unseen hand
Spirit and flesh intertwined
For a purpose you are made and uniquely named
Though a minute piece, of the universe, you are,
Yet, most essential is your being
With all you are: you breathe, live, and love
Climb mountains, dream dreams and yes, you fall
Tears flow when your heart’s broken or sad
And a bright smile may break through when
When nature’s incredible beauty tugs at your heart
These traits all mark the essence of being
