The Equinox

He was her equinox
She was spring going on summer
He was fall going on winter
Yet when they met in the middle

There was sizzle on a summer day
Equal in whit, equal in intellect
Equal in love and enthusiasm
But it was not to be _life offers plans

Not under their control circumstances
That leads in opposite ways
Change__life is full of change
The same as water at the edge of beach

That beach after a storm
White caps that stir up dirty sand
So life can stir us against our calm
Responsibility calls me away

Thank you God for the time off
Thank you for the time to write
Thank you for views that give inspiration
Thank you for another day

We do need reminding at times, to be grateful for the simple things in life. Grateful just for each new day! Nicely done, Sara! ~ Carrie
