The End To a Bad Relationship, Finding Myself

I looked up to the sunset, I looked up with no regret. I found myself in its color, I stood there in the midst of summer. It was a beautiful end to a horrible start, I let go of you and a piece of my heart, but at least I found myself while letting go, at least now my true colors can show. It was an end before it became a begging, it ended with me killing, killing the old me, and setting the real one free. I lost you, but I found myself too.
