The End Is Near

The End is Near By Elton Camp Hurricane Irene had done all type of harm What he saw gave a man extreme alarm People passing, he really wanted to save So with a sign at the road, a warning gave He yelled, “Know now that the end is near. Turn around and then you needn’t fear.” A driver honked and gave an ugly sneer “Man, a nut like you I sure won’t hear.” And the curve he accelerated right around The man then heard a loud splashing sound The effectiveness of his sign he began to doubt “Maybe I should have just written, “Bridge out.”
