The Effects of Having a Baby On a Man - the First 10 Seconds
Your whole life changes when you learn
Your future stops … then starts again
As your whole world’s been rearranged
By this confusing seismic change
Your insides melt, you’re racked with fear
The things you knew best seem unclear
A sudden smile, you cannot not
Your mind goes numb, your eyes fill up
You pull her close to share the pride
And you can feel the life inside
Then all the worry, the delight
Somehow combine to make it right
And unexpectedly you find
Your purpose now has been defined
Your whole life changes when you learn
Your future stops … then starts again
