“Freedom Fall 8 and the Removal of Ray Bans”
The Dilettante Diaries: New Chapter Sometimes it’s necessary to Lose to Win Freedom Fall 8 Sans Rays A new chapter. Light, waves and dances barefoot with the Soft gumshoes Hustling to Win with the Gilded Morai (Lovejoy-Burton/September 2018)
1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight-ball Break: One person is chosen by some predetermined method (e.g., coin toss, lag, or win or loss of previous game or match) to shoot first, using the cue ball to break the object-ball rack apart. In most leagues it is the breaker's opponent who racks the balls, but in some, players break their own racks. If the breaker fails to make a successful break—usually defined as at least four balls hitting cushions or an object ball being pocketed—then the opponent can opt either to play from the current position or to call for a re-rack and either re-break or have the original breaker repeat the break. If the 8 ball is pocketed on the break then the breaker can choose either to re-spot the 8 ball and play from the current position or to re-rack and re-break; but if the cue ball is also pocketed on the break then the opponent is the one who has the choice: either to re-spot the 8 ball and shoot with ball-in-hand behind the head string, accepting the current position, or to re-break or have the breaker re-break. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1sDx8VDzB8

I have taken the loss many times much to my satisfaction. I love your writes Leanne. Pool is or was when my eyes were better, my game. I wrote a poem called "The Shark" my first time ever shooting pool in a bar. Nothing like yours though so well-written and clever. BTW a pretty pic you've included. Charlie xx

Love sharks. I must read that poem for sure. All wins definitely come through loss, that my friend is a given. All loss hurts, this is true. From loss great strength can be grown and the wisdom that comes from loss can catapult a person to make real wins in life. When you try to control the game, that is not winning. When your vision is clear, who needs Ray Bans to see through windows, right? Vision when sight is poor, will always arrive and astound through the genius of the mind. xx

lol...you're a star amongst many others here, even the ones who have fallen, they just need to be re-energised. I am pro-encouragement and motivation, not tearing apart and analysing to the detriment of a person's budding or flourishing creativity. Anyone who possesses an ounce of intelligence and compassion, will understand the motivation of trolls, the poor creatures. In my pages, however, they are not tolerated for long and after strike 3, they are deleted promptly and placed in purgatory until they've sorted themselves out. I am all for their liberation, by whatever means it may take. What's that old saying, "If you can't say anything nice at all, don't say it". Who has time for that nonsense, capiche? All good Hamilton.

Glad to see you write for you, my comments were tongue in cheek, I rarely understand your writing but am not afraid to say it, I think we all need affirmation to some degree, commenting fairly or not is a means to do that!

Comments are interesting. But really not why I am here. "Curious notion for life no?"... Hamilton, Life is a game that is played and everyone is trying to win at 'something'. If you are not playing the game of life to win (for yourself and quite possibly the ones you love), then you are just treading water and not making it to the shore, where there is life to be lived. One can only tread water for so long. ergo, "sometimes when you lose, you win". You might say, it is the knowledge one acquires in the losing, or the mistake, where the real 'win' is made...

I think quite a lot of poetry here John, is very abstract. So just to be very clear, perhaps a person is compelled to write and it is up to the reader to interpret what they will. I am not here to win "the popularity" contest, I am here to write. I write for myself, I write for my daughter, I write for my family, I write for my good friends here and out "there" in the real world. Poetry is like art to me and to many others. Some of the best writing and best art is abstract here and out in the real world...it makes a person think and come to their own end story....or beginning. For the person who this was written, it will make perfect sense.
