The Devil's Play
Step right up, my friend, and join the game,
Where fortunes shift, and whispers fan the flame.
I'm the master here, the dealer of desire,
With cards of pleasure, setting souls afire.
"Why lean on God? Youre strong enough, alone.
Your mind, your will”arent they your own?
Trust in yourself, why pray or kneel?
Youre the master now; youve got the wheel."
"A little sin, what harm could it do?
Youre human, flawed, and grace will see you through.
Indulge a bit”dont take it all so far,
Holiness is dull, but sins a shining star."
"Rewrite the word to fit your hearts desire,
Shape truth to match what your whims require.
Who needs His law, those ancient, rigid chains?
Freedoms yours, just follow your own reigns."
I'll paint your dreams in vibrant, tempting hues,
And whisper doubts, those subtle, winning clues.
A spin of fortune, a gamble with your soul,
Where pleasure's price takes ultimate control.
But heed the whispers, the shadows in the night,
For every winning hand, theres hidden blight.
This game I play, its old, and ever sly,
Where freedoms promise turns into a lie.
So choose your path, the stakes are yours to claim,
But in this devils game, theres only loss and shame.
For Im the master here, the trickster in disguise,
And in my twisted games, true ruin lies.
