A very graceful couplet, Wolf. P.S.: The dice game is a key episode of the Mahabharata, whose convoluted intrigue eventually led to everyone killing each other. Thus Kali Yuga began.

3102 BCE or smth of this kind: they used a ten-month lunar calendar. Anyway, we'are living in the beginning of Kali Yuga. That's why all this sheeet happens and it gets worse) P.S.: By the way, the names of yugas come from dice's numbers. Kali means one, dvapara - two etc. So your couplet has a metaphysical depth.
