Anaya, it's always a pleasure to read about something happening in the solar system! There is a lot of debris up there! Making me smile. It's a great show when it's dark outside. The show actually increases after midnight since the windshield is pointing toward where we're going at that time...(like looking our the front window instead of the back window)...just saying...but then we have to stay up later to see it.

That's great information, we need to know. Duke when comes our time we will evolve into the eternity of the deep dark space and shine alongside with the star clusters. I believe it!

A spectacular Haiku Anaya, we pass through them every year, I believe they are tiny remnants from a comet (Swift Tuttle) that passed near our orbit some years ago, what a beautiful picture you painted here, cheers David

Wow i love that! So good to know, i love everything about planets and stars and constellations. So interesting to learn this: and love that gif. Beautiful haiku. A moon free dark sky and meteors at peak. I need to read about this. Sending you light always sweet anaya

Empress, you can see it best from the Southern Hemisphere, July Delta Aquariids - August Perseids! if you get any snapshots submit to Earthsky. 8 Comets discovered by Don Macnholz the comet known as 96P/Machholz, discovered on May 12 1986 from Loma Prieta Mountain in California. I mentioned in my Welcome July that the new moon will locate on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the sky when this happens it's completely dark can see the showers.
