The Day My Life Changed
The day my life changed when I was seventeen, he broke my heart into a million pieces. How could love go so wrong, how could it hurt so much.
The day my life went wild, was the day I married. We were young and dumb, we worked hard at our many responsibilities.
The day my life went crazy, trying to find a job. A job to help put food on the table, a job to help pay the many bills.
The day my life went dead, the day my dad died. A great man to me, a man I miss every day I breathe.
The day my life went comatose over a friend, she hurt me more than words can say. Closer than sisters we were, then she just threw me away.
The day my life changed, has been many. Guess that is what living life is all about, life being good and life being cruel.
